From Russia With Love - Just a picture
Yes, that is the picture of Hairie, the one sitting on the left. Hasn't he the likeness of a Russian boy ?
For whatever reason I had in mind Pakcik took that picture. The other boy is Faizal about whom I intend to post something shortly. They form a good pair. And I wish them both success, and they will live up to :

He has a pose of a future cardiothoracic surgeon, poise and calm.
Dear Pakcik,
They appear decent and well. Good for them. Wishing them every success!
Semuga segala penat lelah membawa keberkatan dan rahmah kepada yang terlibat..
Pill Pusher,
You ought to know and I believe you. But what is this cardio.....?
Something to do with heart .. not love-sickness, or is it ?
Salaam from Pakcik
Dear Hank,
The young ones normally appear decent and innocent. Hope they do not change with age. Of course not these two, I pray.
Ayah Wan,
Amin. I know you have a kind heart. Maalumlah orang Pulau Duyong. Tengah hari tadi dengan sorang kawang gi makang kat hotel Malaysia. Sambil makan dok tengok hala pula duyong. Huduh rosok dah. Nampak bangunan tak juruh arah.
Dear Pakcik,
If possible, ask him to email his recent pix, with Gorki Park in the background. Harap jangan pos, don't trust Pos Malaysia anymore. purrrr.....meow!
Gorky Park. One of the thriller movies that scared out of my wits.
Hairie, all the best in your endeavors. Study hard for yourself, bangsa dan ugama.
Wassalam.

The mention of Gorky Park scared Nino out of her wits. It was just a film, no more no less. I wonder what comes to the cat’s mind ( or is it the cat’s eye , which our lady poet may see differently after her recent three-language poem, Jauhari … manikam?). Yes I am curious, like a cat.
Gorky Park is nothing more to Pakcik than the Hyde Park – I mean the London one, with the Marble Arch and the connecting Oxford Street. But those ‘undesirable’ individuals deported to Australia and resided in Sydney years and years ago, had to name something to remind themselves in Sydney of their home left behind, hence the Hyde Park, Oxford Street and all. I was greatly surprised to see them during a visit down under. So there is a connection after all from Gorky Park in Moscow to The Hyde Park in London, thence to Sydney. Eureka!
I won’t be surprised at all to see that market, where the cat family likes to visit in Sydney, renamed one day to Pasar Kedai Payang, to remind someone of home! – no offence intended – Salaam from Pakcik.
Pak Cik,
You have so many stories to tell. And I am glad you have shared them, and shared them well too! And there are lessons in those stories. The very numerous comments bear testimony.
What a fulfilling life!
Dear Ramli
All of us without exception have stories to tell. Perhaps being old I have that extra feel for what can be used as an example or something to reflect upon.
If only you sit back and sift through your many adventures I kanow,( I do not just think,) that there are sections that can be focussed to create that 'lesson to learn' side of life. I do not say this just as a mere response but with sincerity and seriousness.
Salaam to you and family
Pakcik,
