What Pakcik received ( Pt 4 ) - Bluebeauty

A lesson in geography

As a short break I must share this Bluebeauty. It brings me back to the class when the geography teacher, in a darkened room, rotated a globe against a torchlight to show the movement of sunrise and sunset.

Allahu Akbar

Assalamu`alaikum wr. wbt.

Pakcik Hassan,

The earth's a big blue marble when you see it from out there
Closer, getting closer, perspectives start to change. Things look a little strange,
as we get closer.
Closer, growing closer,
no need to be afraid
our troubles start to fade,
as we get closer.
Together is a word
we must learn to understand,
if we ever want to get to know
each other better.
Together is a word
that holds tomorrow in it's hand, tomorrow's just another day
to get together, and...

Get closer, closer, closer…

Wassalam

Notalalaland,

That Bluebeauty means something to you, bringing back memories. At least this entry brings you out to leave comments after so long.

What you wrote should be an entry in your blog which I notice has been closed. At least let the 14 to share as a joint presentation. Start with one or two. Get the the idea?

You see I encourage people to do what I cannot do, the likes of Kaykuala above and his book of poem. Some of those who come for tuition at Almanar get a smear of this - for them to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you for the comments, Nali.

Dear Pakcik,08.29am
1. You're a gem! You gave a nudge and created ripples that got others into uncharted territories. So many ex-Al Manar hopefuls are now stars in their own right

2. notalalaland 1.32am - Pardon my intrusion. But that's a beautiful song! By itself a beautiful poem! Is that your own creation? There's great talent around it.

Terima kasih.
