Pakcik was alerted by two visitors that , for reasons beyond my comprehension, Almanar blog had been 'withdrawn' for some time this morning. Luckily someone has kindly helped to reinstate it. I am worried why this should have happened. What would I do if it is totally irrecoverable? Can I make a duplicate of Almanar blog as a back-up in case of such an incidence? Will someone, PLEASE, advise me, by email if prefered - almanar@pd.jaring.my

Dear Pak Cik,
Just in case it happens in future, it is better to save your blog entries into a hard disk drive. Just ask the guy from the computer vendor whom you can get hold of in Kuala Trengganu to do it for you and then ask him to demonstrate it, so that at least you can retrieve them should it go missing again.

My first thought was to keep copies in pocket drive. But it woud be laborious to copy all the ntries one by one. I never tought of dpoping the hard disc way. Thank you for the suggestion.
I have also recdeivred some very good tips from the blogger, Noir of ORDINARY LIFE TIPS. His is quite a professional way and I am now seeking help from someone to try Noir's tips.
This calls for Pakcik's#3.. hope he is already on it. Meantime I've made a copy of the website from afar.

Yet uncle emailed Yvonne who immediately replied. It is a shame we did not that she was in London all the years when uncle and family were staying there a while. We could have met uncle Dicky as well.
