In my mind’s eye (Pt 1)

Menanti

Yang hijau rimbun tegak megah

Yang mencacak kering menanti patah

Ditepi pusara tangan ditadah

Memohon ihsan dari Allah

Berkhidmat kerana Tuhan untuk kemanusiaan

Al-Fatihah. Our eternal 'house' until the Hereafter.

Salam Pakcik, your Jaring mailbox is full. My mail bounced.

Dear Pak Cik,
As humans miniscule in our being
We dearly submit to Allah the Almighty
Our fervent hope that our good deeds therein
Subservient and accounted for most humbly

For a few days I stopped getting mails, blogs comments, and my normal shares of spams. Only when my children alerted me I knew what had happened; and you must be one of several visitors to Almanar who could not get through to me.

My humble apology to you and those who were rudely denied acceess.

Hank,

Isn't it beautiful? Thank you Hank.

Somehow you comment sneaked through into my blog moderation box instead of my Outlook Express inbox.

TQ for this, jolted me off my busy sched to remind me how short this journey is, and that soon enough it'll be my turn to meet Allah swt..
alFatihah (and praying there's a ready spot for me and my loved ones in Jannah, and may we all enter paradise thru any door jubilantly & effortlessly, amiiin..)

Amin to MamaTim's doa..
When I look at the picture I thought the old tree is "menunggu padah" and you pantun say menunggu patah.. close enough I guess..
May you and your loved one be blessed with His Magfirah and Rahmah... sokmo!

It is fine that, for good reasons, we get jolted evrey now and then. We are all often too busy with our daily routine to think what truly lies ahead apart from expectation of good things for us and our loved ones.

Amiin to your prayers.

Hijau rimbun tiada cerca,
Mencacak kering berseri amat,
Bunga ditabur doa pun dibaca,
Mudah-mudahan rohnya dicucuri rahmat.

.....sentiasa kukirim pahala buat yang pergi meninggalkanku selamanya...al fatihah!

Ahmad Humairi,

Cikgu, memang saya mengundang padah.(betul kah ini?) What a world of difference there is between yours and mine! Bila saya baca apa yang saya tulis bunyi janggal. It is easy on the lips and tongue when I recite what you have composed. That is exactly how I feel whenever I read what you have in your blog. I have the flowers but do not possess the skill to turn them into a presentable bouquet.

Thank you for such a contribution.

Ayoh Wang,

You noticed the odd sound and have suggested a better word. See how an expert like Cikgu Humairi does it his way.

You must be awefully busy these days, korek miyok ker juaar minyok, to update your blog as often as before; never mind as long as you do, and are never too busy to visit people.

Beautiful.

Ninot,

As I responded to Cikgu Humairi's comment many of us may be able to acquire flowers, from florists or home-grown, but only very few can turn them into bouquets. You can do it in more than one way, in Malay and so on. I will have them tightly roped!
