Selamat Hari raya kepada Abang Ngah dan Kak Mah, ampun dan maaf daripada kami semua di sini.
Kah Teh, Awang Goneng and ‘the kids’,
We are in the midst of our ‘winter’. It has been raining days and nights. If only the temperature were cold enough we would have the whole village covered in thick snow – we skiing on white Hari Raya day or riding a kereta lembu sledge all the way to the mosque! Our solar water heater ceases to supply hot water, so we have to rely on electric heater (for shower).Does it not sound familiar to you? We advised our children not to drive home for fear of flood and landslide. That leaves the old couple all by themselves for the first time, honeymooning by the stormy and fearsome-looking South China sea.
